Fr. Elias Guadalupe Ford is the editor of the Ignatius Press Pew Missal which is an annual subscription-based worship aid to give Catholic parishes access to traditional chants, melodies, and antiphons. The goal is to meet the average parishioner where they are at and then introduce them to a liturgical resource that is consistent with the directives of the Church.
Paul Senz also has worked on the Pew Missal, and he joins Fr. Elias discuss how to encourage a reverent Mass in the Novus Ordo and introduce a reform of the reform following Vatican II. For musicians, music directors, and priests, this episode will be of particular interest as you direct the minds and hearts of the parish to the heart of the Church—Christ present in the Eucharist.
