There have only been twenty-two ecumenical councils since Ascension of Christ, but each one has had great impact on the life of the Church. The most recent ecumenical council was the Second Vatican Council. Our guest today, Paul Senz, has written a book about the councils and joins Andrew Peteprin to talk about what a council is and why they are important. The two also will discuss the ongoing effects of Vatican II and hypothesize whether or not we will see another council in our lifetime.
